The Western Tracking Institute hosted a track and sign evaluation in Ventura County, CA on October 6, 2012.

We saw the tracks of 26 species, including 17 mammals, 5 birds, 2 herps, and 2 invertebrates, and 1 plant! Some of the highlights were: beautiful toad tracks, woodrat tracks, and some very nice gait patterns. By the end of the workshop, all participants were very familiar with identifying an overstep walk.

Thanks to Barry Martin for hosting the eval and assisting. Thanks also to Kimberly Davis and Dale Ritenour for being a huge help!
