DESCRIPTION:The first-ever track & sign certification events in Mexico have been postponed until further notice\, but the hosts are organizing an introductory event January 11-12\, 2025. \nThe Basics of Wildlife Tracking: An introduction to Wildlife Track and Sign of Baja California Sur \nJoin us for a 2 day workshop with CyberTracker Evaluator\, Marcus Reynerson and Naturalist\, Kevin O’Malley in La Ventana\, BCS Saturday and Sunday January 11th and 12th from 8am to 2pm each day. \nThis course will cover tracking basics as well as specifics of the region that will be appropriate for both beginners and experienced trackers. We will also explore the general ecology and natural history of the region including some birding forays! \n-History\, importance\, fundamentals\, and uses of Animal Tracking\n-In the field tracking\, trailing\, and birding forays\n-Practice and preparation for formal Certification process later in the year.\n-Bilingual presentation of information \nPrice is $190 for the entire weekend and is limited to 10 participants. \nPlease email Molly Theda at mollytheda@gmail.com to reserve your place.
