On April 20th, 2025, Kathryn Dean, Beth McCooey, and Jonathan Shapiro earned Track & Sign Specialist Certifications in the Los Padres National Forest in California! For Katheryn and Jonathan, this was their second Specialist Certification, having previously earned one in the NorthEast. Earning a Specialist Certification takes years of practice and training and it’s very exciting to welcome Beth into the ranks of some of the absolutely best trackers in the country.
