Financial Access
Our mission is to revitalize and preserve essential field skills—especially wildlife tracking—through the internationally respected CyberTracker process. These skills are increasingly rare, yet they remain critical for understanding landscapes, supporting conservation, and connecting people to their local ecosystems.
We are committed to expanding access to professional-level tracker training across a wide range of communities—agency personnel, scientists, conservationists, ranchers, hunters, educators, and outdoor enthusiasts. By bringing these skills into diverse settings, we not only ensure their survival but also enhance community science, empower local experts, and reinvigorate natural history in academia, conservation, and wildlife management.
To further this goal, we’ve created a fund to support individuals facing financial or contextual barriers, particularly those from communities underrepresented in wildlife research, conservation, and outdoor education. Our funding is limited, and we prioritize applicants who are pursuing or currently in careers involving the application of professional tracking in these fields.
Our vision is to see field skills not only preserved, but thriving—shared widely, used meaningfully, and woven into the future of conservation and ecological knowledge.
