In January 2022 we introduced our online “Tracker Tuesday” series, featuring hour-long presentations and conversations from the Tracker Certification community.

What happens when 30 Tracking Evaluators gather in one place? We found out this past August, when our Tracker Certification team gathered in South Africa for a week of connection, camaraderie, and professional development at the first International CyberTracker Evaluator Conference. Join us on October 27 for stories from this experience: following lion and rhino trails, sharing incredibly close encounters with elephants, learning from Master Trackers, and strengthening our connections with the global CyberTracker community from Africa and Europe.

Creating a Regional Field Guide: Wildlife of the Southeast
Tuesday, September 29 at 5 pm Pacific (8 pm Eastern)

Sam Giovanetti is excited to share photos, illustrations, and stories gathered during the making of Wildlife of the Southeast, a soon-to-be-released field guide published by Timber Press. He will describe how participation in CyberTracker certifications helped guide him down his own unique trail that led him to seek out Florida panthers, red wolves, sea turtles, and many other species throughout the Southeastern US for this project.
