Tracker Certification in Canada
The enduring human fascination with observing and understanding wildlife through their tracks and signs is thriving in Canada. Building on this passion, Tracker Certification North America (TCNA) has established a presence here, inspiring a growing community of wildlife enthusiasts and professionals.
Expanding Tracker Certification in Canada
To support Certification opportunities in Canada, TCNA has formed the Tracker Certification Canada (TraCC) committee. This dedicated group is working to guide and promote TCNA’s expansion while advocating for Canadian perspectives and interests with the TCNA Board of Directors.
Current TraCC committee members:
- Joseph Litke (Alberta)
- Marcel Lefebvre (Quebec)
- Sage Raymond (British Columbia)
- Sophie Mazowita (Ontario, Tracker Certification North America)
Key Canadian initiatives include:
- Maintaining Canadian representation on the TCNA Board of Directors.
- Identifying and training Canadian Track & Sign Evaluators.
- Establishing a workable Canadian-specific cost structure for Track & Sign Certification.
- Expanding Track & Sign Certification venues to new provinces, territories, and communities
- Contacting and encouraging past and potential Certification hosts in Canada to host future events
